Fabric seats, carpets, and air vents are particularly prone to harbouring allergens, bacteria, mould spores, and dust mites. If you or your passengers suffer from allergies or asthma, a dirty interior makes things significantly worse.

STEAM CLEANING VS REGULAR CLEANING

Our state-of-the-art steam machines use triple-action technology — high-pressure steam, hot water, and vacuum extraction simultaneously. This isn't a surface clean. The steam penetrates deep into fabric fibres and lifts stains, bacteria, and embedded grime that a regular vacuum or wipe simply cannot reach.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

A full interior detail at The Detail Lab Melbourne starts from $240 for small cars and from $290 for larger vehicles. Individual items like seats (from $25 each) and carpets (from $80) can also be done separately. Additional charges apply for heavy pet hair, mould, or odour treatment.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU DO IT?

We recommend a full interior detail every 6–12 months, with regular vacuuming in between. If you have kids, pets, or regularly eat or drink in the car, every 3–6 months is a smarter cadence.
